About us

Elisa Academy

At Elisa Academy, students fully immerse themselves in the world of acting and theater, developing the essential skills that form the foundation of performing arts. From acting techniques, voice training, and stage presence to body awareness and movement, students are taught to use their entire body as an expressive instrument.

Students learn to write their own scripts and lyrics, create original performances, and take part in a wide range of productions. The curriculum covers the full spectrum of theater-making, including acting, drama, writing theatrical texts, and staging original plays. Classes also include movement, speech, and creative development, all guided by a team of passionate teachers and guest lecturers, experienced professionals from both Curaçao and abroad.

At the Academy, students are encouraged to broaden their perspective by drawing inspiration from politics, society, current events, the internet, literature, and global cultural trends. Our goal is to guide each student to develop a strong, independent artistic voice and to grow into a creative, enterprising performer capable of working collaboratively and across artistic disciplines.

We are also proud to offer dance classes, with a focus on Hip Hop and Afro dance styles; a vibrant new addition to our creative offerings. These classes bring rhythm, energy, and cultural expression into the academy and are open to all levels. Led by enthusiastic and skilled instructors, students explore dance as both a performance art and a powerful means of self-expression.

Our mission is to inspire and empower as many Curaçaoans as possible through the transformative power of professional theater and performance. We are committed to making the performing arts accessible, inclusive, and relevant, while celebrating the rich variety of genres and disciplines that make up the world of theater and dance.

Every performance tells a story.
Some stories are unforgettable.

Giliante Crispulo

Dance Master

Giliante Crispulo is a multi-talented artist from Curaçao, actively involved in various artistic disciplines. One of her strongest passions is dance, where she has dedicated over a decade of his life.

With more than 10 years of experience in the world of dance, Giliante has mastered several styles, including Hip Hop, Urban, African dances, and traditional cultural dances. Her versatility and ability to blend different styles make her performances dynamic, expressive, and deeply rooted in both modern and cultural identity.

Giliante began dancing at a very young age as part of a renowned dance group on the island. It was within this group that she laid the foundation for her dance journey, gaining valuable stage experience and developing her skills while performing at large-scale events and festivals across Curaçao. These early performances allowed her to build confidence and learn what it means to connect with an audience.

At the age of 18, Giliante began pursuing dance more independently, stepping into the spotlight as a solo performer. Since then, she has danced in numerous music videos for local artists, bringing visual storytelling to life through movement. She has also performed live on stage, accompanying various musicians as a backup dancer, delivering high-energy, crowd-pleasing performances.

She continues to evolve as a dancer and artist, constantly exploring new styles and rediscover new techniques. She is committed to using her talent not only to entertain but to inspire others, especially young people, by showing them what’s possible when passion meets dedication.
